This is my first blog post...ever. I just did a yoga for an hour, and I thought I'd never be a person who did yoga at all. I thought yoga was for other people, fitter people, skinny people like maybe vegans or something.
But doing yoga makes me love my body more. When I first started yoga, I felt like I had to push my body harder to be stronger and more flexible than I was, but one yoga teacher I had said, "Have compassion for yourself. If you don't love your body, how do you expect other people to?" I heard that and remembered it. My new mantra for yoga is that is should be like a relationship. It should make me feel better. Not worse. Namaste.

AuthorI hope my blog inspires you to believe in yourself more and feel less alone in the world. I, for one, am inspired by the imperfections of others who continue to rise up again and again despite life's challenges. May we find ways to inspire and support each other. Archives
